Ford Capri: Trim levels, colours and options explained
Back to 'Expert guides'With the Capri, Ford has revived a true icon. Taking inspiration from the much-loved low-slung coupe of the 1970s, it’s now got four doors, an all-electric powertrain and plenty of appealing tech.
Along with the Explorer, it’s one of the brand’s next generation of electric vehicles. With the Capri priced from less than £400 per month, it’s also a car that proves premium EVs don’t have to cost the earth.

The infotainment system features Ford’s latest SYNC software, which supports wireless smartphone mirroring as standard. The driver’s seat is also a 12-way adjustable unit, with both front seats being heated.
Standard features include:
- 19in alloy wheels
- Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go
- Lane Keeping Aid
- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Dual-zone air conditioning

Premium features include:

Colour options
You’ve got half a dozen colours to choose from with the Capri, with Frozen White being the no-cost option across both trim levels. Here’s the full range:
Frozen White
Frozen White won’t cost you anything extra, and suits the cool demeanour of the Capri.
Agate Black
This deep, rich black adds a touch of understated class to the Capri.
Magnetic
This grey colour will be great if you do lots of miles – it’ll hide road grime well in between trips to the car wash.
Blue My Mind
We first saw this vivid blue colour on the Explorer, and it suits the Capri equally as well.
Rapid Red
Rapid Red is a deep metallic hue that suits the lines of the Capri perfectly.
Vivid Yellow
This is arguably the brightest (and maybe the best?) colour choice – Vivid Yellow does what it says on the tin. It’s bright, and harks back to the colour options of the original Capri back in the 70s.
