Vauxhall Corsa range revised for 2021
The Vauxhall Corsa and Corsa-e range have been revised for 2021, with a raft of new engines, tweaked styling and lower list prices.
It’s only been a year or so since the launch of the all-new model, but Vauxhall’s refresh is aiming to offer customers lower prices and a simplified range of trims.
Vauxhall Corsa SRi
The majority of models remain unchanged on the outside and internally, with the primary change being the addition of the SRi trim. This features specific 17in alloy wheels, tinted windows and a host of red accents on the outside of the car.
It gets Vauxhall’s light pack as standard too, adding LED front fog lights, Led tail lights and automatic lighting control. Plump for the SRi Premium and you’ll add bi-colour wheels too, further helping the model to stand out.
Inside, you’ll find unique SRi upholstery, front sports seats and a set of sports pedals. The addition means customers looking or a sporty Corsa can now choose between petrol, diesel and the all-electric Corsa-e.
Vauxhall Corsa engine and trim changes
A key change for 2021 is the introduction of a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Producing 130hp and connected to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, it’ll be available on SRi and Ultimate Nav models. 0-60mph takes 8.2 seconds and it gets a twin exhaust for a sportier look, too.
Elsewhere, an entry-level 1.2-litre non-turbo engine has been made available on Elite models. The trim range itself is now made up of 8 levels: SE, SE Premium, SRi, SRi Premium, Elite, Elite Nav, Elite Nav Premium and Ultimate Nav.
The Corsa-e model gets a 50kWh battery and a 100kW motor as standard and is capable of up to 209 miles on a single charge. You can recharge it to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes using a rapid charger.
Petrol and diesel variants of the Corsa can now be specified in SE, SE Premium, SRi, SRi Premium, Elite, Elite Nav, Elite Nav Premium and Ultimate Nav. The Elite trim is new for 2021 and sits below Elite Nav and Elite Nav Premium; it offers the same specification aside from built-in navigation.
List prices for the revised range start from £16,440 rising to £30,895 for a range-topping Corsa-e. You can compare Corsa lease deals right now here.
