This model is exclusively available in a single-tone paint design, offering a choice of five colors: the standard Arctic White, or Polymetal Grey, Ceramic White, Jet Black, and Machine Grey.
Moving up the line, the MX-30 Exclusive-Line is poised to capture attention with its 18in Bright alloy wheels and enhanced standard features, including power seats, lumbar support adjustment, and smart keyless entry. Buyers can opt for a three-tone design, with Mazda's latest exterior colors, Zircon Sand or Soul Red Crystal, matched to a Brilliant Black roof and Black side panels. Those choosing Jet Black can anticipate a Brilliant Black roof with Silver side panels, while Ceramic White can be paired with a Brilliant Black roof and Dark Grey side panels.
At the top of the range, the Makoto model offers three interior trim options: a light grey cloth interior trim with Stone artificial leather, an optional dark grey interior with brown artificial leather, or a new dark grey interior with black artificial leather. The premium Makoto MX-30 boasts additional features such as a front wiper de-icer and a power and tilt sunroof. Inside, a heated steering wheel and a 12-speaker Bose surround sound system complement the already generous standard specification.
Interior and Tech
Every MX-30 comes equipped with an extensive standard safety specification, and the Makoto model enhances this with additional active safety technology and a 360-degree view monitor. Throughout the entire MX-30 lineup, the cabin stands out for its distinctive, stylish, and sustainable design, featuring premium materials and a driver-focused interior.
The lower console boasts a 7in color touch-screen climate control panel. Drawing inspiration from Mazda's origins as the Toyo Kogyo Cork Company in 1920, the MX-30 incorporates cork-lined center console trays and inner side door handles.
Sourced without felling trees, the cork and door trim materials, which include fibers from recycled plastic bottles, align seamlessly with Mazda's commitment to sustainability in its first all-electric production car. Both passengers and drivers benefit from an enhanced sense of space, thanks to a floating centre console that stands independently from the dashboard. The use of eco-friendly materials is meticulously paired with top-notch quality and finish.
Drivetrain
Introducing three generously equipped model grades – Prime-Line, Exclusive-Line, and Makoto – all UK MX-30s come standard with an impressive array of features. Furthermore, each MX-30 is outfitted with a Type 2 AC charging cable and a built-in socket for DC rapid charging. This allows for a swift 36-minute charge, bringing the battery from 20 to 80 percent capacity.
