The revised 2021 Dacia Duster has landed
The Dacia Duster has been given a mild facelift for 2021, with the affordable family SUV now available to order.
Priced from £13,995, here’s everything you need to know about the changes.
Dacia Duster exterior
While the overall look of the car hasn’t changed much, there’s a host of tweaks that bring it in line with the brand’s Sandero range, which has recently had a major overhaul.
Up front there’s a new set of headlights that incorporate a different daytime running light and indicator design. This is reflected in the rear tail lights too, with the design mirroring the front.
At the side, you’ll find the silhouette is unchanged, but there are new 16in and 17in alloy wheels on offer depending on which specification you go for. Three trims are available – Essential, Comfort and Prestige.

On the infotainment front, things have taken a step up. THere are two systems on offer, both of which featuring a redesigned 8in touchscreen interface.
Both systems are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auti, while Prestige models introduce a satnav function and wireless connectivity for smartphone mirroring.
On four-wheel drive versions, the screen includes a Vehicle tab that allows you to monitor off-road specific information.
Things like automatic main beam activation and cruise control are standard equipment. Automatic climate control and heated front seats are optional on higher spec models.
Talking of seats, the upholstery in the new car has been redesigned, while other changes include a higher centre console and a wider armrest.
Dacia Duster drivetrains
The biggest talking point here is the addition of a six-speed automatic gearbox option – something Dacia customers have asked for in the past. It comes with a 150hp petrol engine as standard.
More basic models can be had with either a 1.0-litre or 1.3-litre petrol unit, which produce 90hp and 130hp respectively. The 115hp diesel unit remains available too, and can be had with the impressive four-wheel drive system.
A bi-fuel motor is also available, which adds an LPG tank and increases range by more than 150 miles. Behind the wheel, the switch between fuels is immediate and imperceptible. The new petrol-LPG switch, which is more ergonomic and better integrated, can be operated manually by the driver at any time.
Dacia Duster prices, leasing plans and release date
The Duster range is priced from just £13,995, rising to £14,265 and £13,825 depending on which trim level you want. It’s available to order now, so expect leasing plans to be available very soon.
