Subaru XV refreshed for 2021
The Subaru XV has been given a minor refresh and facelift for 2021, with exterior design tweaks and new safety tech now on offer.
Order books will open in March, with the range priced from £31,665. Here’s what you need to know.
Subaru XV exterior
On the face of it, not much has changed on the outside. Subaru has given it a new front end courtesy of a revised bumper, new grille design and a fresh set of fog lights.
It’ll also be available a pair of new colours: Plasma Yellow and Horizon Blue. 18in alloy wheels are available for the first time too.
Subaru XV interior and tech
There’s not much new on the design front inside, although a raft of new safety tech and driver assistance systems feature. It now gets a 180-degree front camera as standard, ensuring the driver can see obstacles in their blindspot. The door mirrors also now automatically face downwards when parking – boosting visibility and safety further.
All models now get heated front seats, keyless ignition and an 8in infotainment touchscreen that’s compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Subaru XV engines
The 1.66-litre entry-level petrol option has been binned, leaving just one engine on offer – the 2.0-litre flat-four petrol that uses hybrid tech. Producing around 160hp and 196Nm of torque, all XVs feature Subaru’s famed four-wheel drive system and a CVT automatic gearbox as standard.
Subaru XV release date
