Skoda teases refreshed Scala and Kamiq models
SKoda has revealed a couple of sketches that hint at what we can expect the upcoming Scala and Kamiq to look like.
The brand is refreshing its affordable hatchback and crossover models, with both set to be revealed on 1 August.
Skoda Scala and Kamiq styling
The images show that both cars have had a comprehensive makeover, with the Scala more noticeably refreshed than the SUV. It gets slimmer headlights up front, that now extend all the way to the grille.
There’s a new air intake and bumper design too, while the tail lights also feature a revised lighting signature.
The Kamiq’s split signature headlights are also slimmer, while the bumper now incorporates accentuated air intakes.
The rear appears to get the same treatment as the Scala, with a revised pair of tail lights also featuring.
Skoda Scala and Kamiq interior and tech
No interior teasers have been revealed, but it’s likely both models will benefit from an infotainment upgrade, with 6, 7 and 10in units on offer depending on trim level.
They may also receive a new digital driver display, while the controls and steering wheel will be more ergonomic than previously. We’ll bring you more details when we know more.
Skoda Scala and Kamiq drivetrains
It’s likely the engine line-up will go unchanged, with the same range of turbocharged petrol engines on offer. It’s possible the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre units might receive a power bump and improved emissions.
We’ll bring you more details on the revised pair as soon as they are released. In the meantime, you can check out lease deals on the current Skoda line-up by hitting the button below.
