Design study showcases 2025 Skoda Epiq

  • 15 Mar 2024

Skoda has unveiled the all-new Epiq – an electric vehicle that will be the Czech brand’s entry-level BEV.

Taking the form of a compact crossover, Skoda has revealed a few snaps that show us what we can expect the Epiq to look like when it is unveiled in full in 2025.

The car you see here is actually a digital design study, but it highlights the key features and characteristics of the future production vehicle.

At 4.1 metres in length, the Epiq is around the same size as the Volkswagen T-Cross, and entry-level versions are touted to cost from around £23,000.

The design language incorporates elements of the current Skoda range, including the sharp headlights and grille design. But the Epiq appears to get a softer, more rounded body shape overall.

Inside, it’s set to feature a minimalist cabin that focuses on offering durability and practicality, while using sustainable materials throughout.

It gets a funky two-spoke steering wheel design too, while Skoda has also attempted to incorporate some of its “simply clever” design features including a free-floating centre console that includes a wireless charger.

Space is high on the agenda too, with the car set to offer up to 490 litres of boot space – that would be class-leading for its segment.

There’s no word on the drivetrain yet, but Skoda says it will offer at least 248 miles of range between charges. We’ll bring you further details on the production model as soon as they’re revealed.
