GWM ORA 07: Everything you need to know
The GWM ORA 03 is now available to lease, and hot on its heels is another new model from the Chinese brand.
Set to arrive on UK shores in 2024, the Ora 07 has been confirmed yet. But we have seen some pics and tech specs. Here’s what you need to know.

Ora saloon styling
Love it or loathe it, Ora has managed to combined a futuristic look with retro characteristics with its Funky Cat, and this model gets the same kind of styling. Up front, it’s not dissimilar to the smaller hatchback. The round lights and swooping front bumper give it a unique look.
Side on, it takes the profile of a sweepy saloon, a little akin to the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Around the back, it gets a real fastback boot style, with a large glass area moulding neatly into the rear boot lid.
Ora saloon interior and tech
Like the Funky Cat, Ora has clearly placed premium materials high on the priority list when it comes to the interior. The snaps reveal a cabin full of plush trim, including leather-effect upholstery that also adorns the dashboard and steering wheel.
The centre console features some key driving controls, as well as the climate control buttons. A large landscape-style infotainment system features, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the driver gets a vivid digital display split into three instrument binnacles.

We’re still waiting for UK specs to be revealed, but we know that the new model will be available with both two and four-wheel drive, with the most potent model producing around 400hp – enough for a sub five-second 0-60mph time; that’s quick enough to worry Tesla.
We don’t know much about the battery pack, but it’s likely to be around an 85kWh unit that Ora says will be capable of more than 300 miles on a single charge. We’ll have to wait and see what UK specifications are.
Ora saloon leasing
There’s no official release date yet, but we reckon the new Ora 07 will be available in the UK from 2024. We’ll bring you leasing plans as soon as they’re revealed.
