Mercedes EQA gets fresh face and longer range
Mercedes has given its EQA crossover a freshen up, with the new model featuring styling tweaks, interior changes and extra range.

Mercedes EQA styling
The EQA isn’t exactly an old car, but this mid-life refresh brings it in line with larger Mercedes models such as the EQC. Up front, a fresh bumper is more aerodynamic than before, while the new grille features a star-like pattern.
Elsewhere, changes are less noticeable, although the rear bumper has been changed too. Both the front and rear lights feature a full-width bar that run across the grille ridge and tailgate respectively.
Mercedes EQA interior and tech
Interior trim has taken a step up, with new pieces featuring across the interior. You’ll find backlit Mercedes badging in the door panels, while the steering wheel now features touch-sensitive controls – just like the posh S Class limousine.
Infotainment-wise, you get the latest MBUX system that’s operated via one of the two 10in displays that dominate the dashboard. The graphics have been updated, while voice command is reported to be improved, too.
Mercedes EQA drivetrain
The best upgrade the EQA benefits from is arguably an extended range; it’s gone from 260 miles up to 347 – that means many rivals and puts it among the top EVs in its segment. For example, BMW’s iX1 manages around 230 miles between charges.
This change puts it well ahead of the competition, and makes the EQA the EV to go for if you’re after excellent range between charging.
Mercedes EQA release date
The revised EQA will be available to order from the autumn, with UK deliveries commencing in the first few months of 2024. We’ll bring you leasing plans as soon as they’re available.
