Hyundai has given its Tucson a mid-life refresh, with the revised model benefiting from a fresh infotainment system, styling tweaks and a revised interior.

Priced from £32,000, it’s available to order now with deliveries set to commence later in the year.

Hyundai Tucson styling

It doesn’t seem too long since the Tucson launched, and it still looks quite fresh next to the competition. As such, styling tweaks appear minimal at first glance.

A closer look reveals the grille and headlights have been updated, with both featuring a more chiselled appearance compared to the outgoing car.

Its silhouette remains unchanged, although some fresh body cladding, alloy wheel designs and a new light bar design all give hints that this is a revised model.

Hyundai interior and tech

Changes are more substantial on the inside, where the Tucson has been given a comprehensive makeover. The steering wheel design has changed, giving the cabin a more modern look.

The biggest change is the on the dashboard. The twin screen set-up retains the wide 10in displays, but it’s now all integrated into a single unit, giving the appearance of a single monitor – much like the Ioniq 5.

The rest of the dash has been updated too, with the climate control knobs and dials offering a fresher look than before. The centre console looks cleaner as well, with many of the controls moved to a more ergonomic location.

Hyundai Tucson drivetrain

No details have been given about the revised range’s engine line-up, but we know it’ll be pretty much identical to the current car’s. That means that there’ll be several electrified models on offer, including one plug-in model.

The electric-only range of the plug-in hybrid might see some improvement (currently it’s around 40 miles) but we’ll have to wait for further details.
