Hyundai Santa Fe styling

Right from the off, it’s clear that this car is a completely new design. The styling takes its inspiration from a previous concept car, and features a box-like design not too similar from something like the Mercedes G Wagon.

Up front, there’s a cool lighting design that incorporates a full-width light bar and H-shaped daytime running lights. The grilles and intakes in the bumper as also squared off, adding to the dramatic boxy looks.

Side on, huge 21in alloy wheels feature, while the bottom portions get chunky black body cladding. Around the back, things get even squarer – a wraparound set of tail lights cut abruptly off, while the tailgate itself is also completely squared off.

Hyundai Santa Fe interior and tech

The interior design isn’t quite as dramatic, but it has also been thoroughly reworked. Hyundai’s excellent dual-screen 12.3in digital driver display and infotainment remains present, although the controls have changed and the system has been updated.

The Santa Fe is a large car and features seven seats. The front passenger and driver benefit from a huge centre console that acts as an adaptable storage area, while also hosting two wireless charging spots.  Recycled and sustainable materials have been used throughout.

Hyundai Santa Fe drivetrains

The Santa Fe is set to be revealed in full in August, and we haven’t heard which drivetrains the new model will use. However, it’s likely to carry over the hybrid and plug-in options of the current model. It’s unlikely a fully electric version will be offered.

We’ll bring you more details on the Santa Fe as soon as they’re revealed. In the meantime, you can check out leasing plans available on the current Hyundai range by hitting the button below.
