Hyundai i20 updated for 2023
These are the first pictures of the all-new Hyundai i20. With a refreshed design and bold colour combinations, Hyundai’s newest addition is looking to make an eye-catching statement on the road.
It’ll be available in eight exterior colours with an optional black two-tone roof. Here’s everything you need to know.

Hyundai i20 styling
The i20 has newly designed 16-and 17-inch wheels, whilst the front bumper and radiator grille have been enhanced to create a refined look with sporty elements. The rear has also had an upgrade, with a redesigned bumper, as well as a unique taillight design.
The newest addition to the Hyundai family will be available in eight exterior colours, with an optional black two-tone roof. There are three new exterior colours which are Lucid Lime Metallic, Lumen Grey Pearl, and Meta Blue Pearl. Returning colours are, Atlas White, Phantom Black Pearl, Aurora Grey Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl, and Mangrove Green Pearl.
Hyundai i20 interior and technology
Offering plenty of interior room, the new i20 offers 352 litres of boot space with the rear seats up, and 1,165 litres with the rear seats folded down.
Looking to make a striking statement on the road, the i20 also offers a vibrant interior with its Lucid Lime interior. The seats sport a new lime-coloured stitching pattern, with a bold vertical line and embossed horizontal dotted lines to add to the sporty character of the model.
There have also been upgrades to the model’s tech package as it boasts a 4.2-inch LCD cluster, USB type-C, second-generation eCall based on the 4G network, and Over-the-Air (OTA) map updates. Other popular features from the previous model also return, with an optional 10.25-inch cluster and 10.25-inch display screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless device charger, and the latest update to Bluelink telematics.
Hyundai i20 drivetrain
From launch, the i20 will have a 1.0 T-GDI engine – available with 100 PS or 120 PS and is offered with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission or a six-speed intelligent Manual Transmission, delivering the ultimate driving experience.
Hyundai i20 leasing plans
Production of the new i20 is set to begin in the third quarter of this year (2023) at Hyundai’s manufacturing plant in Turkey, with further variants to follow. We will bring you further details and leasing rates as soon as they’re available.
