Revised Citroen C3 Aircross now available to lease

The refreshed Citroen C3 Aircross is now available to lease. With list prices from £17,320, it gets a new front end, enhanced tech and improved comfort.

Well, it’s certainly a break from the old car isn’t it? Gone are the bubbly headlights, with the new car benefiting from a completely revised front end.

The headlights and DRLs are on different levels, with all of them being thinner and more angular than before. It’s certainly distinctive, with a new grille and large lower air intake completing the look.

Changes are less dramatic around the back, although the bumper and tail light units have been revised too. Personalisation has taken a step up, with a total of 70 contrasting body/roof colour combinations now on offer.

Not much has changed on the inside, with the basic instrument layout remaining the same as before. However, higher trim levels get a new 9in infotainment touchscreen that’s compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Citroen says there’s more storage space too, which you’ll find in the centre console. You’ll also find that some upholstery choices now feature Citroen’s Advanced Comfort seats too. They’re already part of the C5 Aircross range, so we’ll likely see it rolled out across the Citroen line-up.

Citroen C3 Aircross engines and tech

Two petrols and two diesels are on offer. A 1.2-litre petrol engine produces either 110hp or 130hp and comes with a six-speed gearbox as standard. The more potent variant is available with an automatic too.

The diesels are made up of a single unit, which offers 110hp or 120hp respectively. Again, the more powerful version is the one with an automatic gearbox. There are various drive modes on offer, with functions including a grip control and hill-descent.

Safety tech has taken a step up too. Standard features now include automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam and speed sign recognition. You can also opt for a head-up display and a parking camera too.
