e-308 intro

Peugeot has released information on the new e-308 and e-308 SW, the latest addition to their all-electric model line-up. The French manufacturer aims to fully electrify all their models by 2025, becoming one of the first European manufacturers who will offer a fully electric estate. New models are expected to be available to lease and purchase in the UK by late 2023.

The all-new e-308 and e-308 SW will be given a new electric powertrain, operating a 115kW at 156bhp motor with a 54 kWh high-voltage battery giving you an extensive range of 248 miles. Three driving modes can be chosen from Eco, and Normal to their Sport mode, giving the car that extra push depending on your driving style.

e-308 rear

It’ll feature the same electric motors and drivetrain seen on the e-2008. It’ll be taking on cars like the Volkswagen ID.3 when it arrives, and it might just be able to tempt a few customers its way thanks to that stunning styling.

Three driving modes can be chosen from Eco, and Normal to their Sport mode, giving the car that extra push depending on your driving style. A driving style, ‘brake’ mode is used to give you more miles when you take your foot off the pedal. This helps increase the recovery of energy to the electric system.

A three-phase 11kW charger will be provided with the car as standard, but you can opt to get the 100kW rapid charging which Peugeot claims will charge your battery from 20-80% in less than 25 minutes.

Modern technology has been added to the new Peugeot e-308 to increase the driving safety, with convenient features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop and Go function, long-range blind spot monitoring and Rear Traffic Alert which assists you whilst reversing.

e-308 interior

From the inside, the e-308 features the latest generation of the Peugeot i-cockpit® with an optional heated steering wheel, a customisable digital head-up display and a central 10in touch screen.

The trim levels which will become available are the Allure and GT. The new e-308 will be given a longer bonnet, with fang-shaped light signature frames and optional Matrix LED headlights and the three-claw LED taillights. 18” aluminium wheels have been designed to increase aerodynamic efficiency, all encompassing Peugeot’s goal to give you, the driver, the best performance and experience.
